Seabone is the international backbone of Telecom Italia, owned
and managed by Telecom Italia
Sparkle.
The map describes the logical IP network interconnecting our
POPs. In the map and in traceroutes, our routers are called with
the first three unique letters of the name of the city, written
more or less as an Italian would. The following is a list of all
our POPs:

Seabone originally meant "Southern European Access
backBONE", now it's just a brand and the name with which we call
the network. It's sometimes written as Se@bone.
Being a name, we refer to it with no article: it's not
"the seabone", "il seabone", "la seabone". Just
"Seabone".
